my mini review:
The content of the book is unfortunately lowest common denominator conspiracy theories. For example, the ‘Chemtrail’ section decides that its worth talking about mind control chemicals instead of talking about leaded gasoline that is still used by the aerospace industry (yes, you are being sprayed with lead) or Hexane, the neurotoxin solvent that composes about 3% of modern gasoline blends (not sure about aviation fuel, but any amount of neurotoxins are unsafe).
Its kind of the same thing with all the conspiracy theories, where the author had a great opportunity to talk about the real crimes of megacorporations that touch on these conspiracies, but instead the author wastes the opportunity by addressing the most ‘out there’ conspiracies instead of the more grounded in reality ones. I also didn’t hear it mention all the times that people really were sprayed by military aircraft for ’science’; like Operation Large Area Coverage where many cities (Even in Canada) were sprayed with zinc cadmium sulfide.
The illuminati section is another missed opportunity, the author doesn’t really touch on how incestuous the modern corporate industrial complexes have become. Instead the author chooses to gloss along the most inane (and insane) parts of the conspiracy while ignoring all the the very real things that the ‘illuminati’ conspiracy touches on. for example let’s look at Canadas modern economy:
In Canada Trudeau is just the ‘fall guy’ for the various corporate industrial complexes that own politicians through lobbyists. The oil and gas industrial complex (remember when Trudeau promised to end fossil fuel tax subsidies and instead tax subsidies to this private, for-profit industry with titanic negative externalities, only increased to over $20,000,000,000 (billions of dollars in a nationstate of millions)), the cable industrial complex, the mining, fishing, forestry, and other resource extraction industrial complexes, the military industrial complex (not just in Canada, but all of NATOs military industrial complex has too strong of an influence over our politics). These are all owned by a relatively small group of billionaires. We, the people, are all getting poorer while the rich get richer; our civilization in “The West” is sick, and the corrupt actions of many arms of our corporate industrial complexes and their Oligarch owners are not a symptom, but the foundation of the sickness. Our political parties are owned by them, our prisons, our food industries are the same people that used to own Ciggarette companies, its incestuous how small this group has become.
These billionaires are more and more transnational, here in Canada the Federal Liberals have CCP agents within their ranks and seem to be protecting them.
These transnational corporations only care about money, and they use ‘us vs them’ narratives like identity politics to divide us into 2 political parties, which they own both of, and market these two ‘options’ as the only alternative to each other, thereby staying in power forever.
In Canada The CPC and the LPC are owned by the same corporations. Its even worse in the USA.
Anyone who wants to see real change MUST vote for a small party. I don’t care if its Green, PPC, Pirate, whatever, but a vote for the CPC is just as vote for the same billionaires that own Trudeaus LPC.
Like, these facts may not be the ‘illuminati’ but the author really should have addressed this kind of thing when dealing with the topic of a small cabal controlling undue influence in the world.
